Creekside RV Park Pigeon Forge TN

Pulled into the campground at 7:30pm and got set up with no trouble.  Boy the automatic leveling system is the ticket!  It feels good to be in a real campground and to be able to have a fire.  We ordered the caravan without cabinet knobs as we wanted to put our own on so I will be busy installing them tomorrow.  All is good...

Creekside RV Park is a nice clean campground with 108 sites with some along Walden's creek.  It has full hook ups, concrete patio, Wifi, cable TV, clean bath houses and laundry with heat and air, paved roads which keep down the dust, plus it is located on the Pigeon Forge Tolley route.  The only drawback is that the sites are small.  We were lucky enough to not have anyone on either side of us or behind us so we were happy on site 68.  It would not be the place we would look for during the summer months as one would assume that it would be full as Pigeon Forge is a major tourist destination with Dollywood, outlet shopping, dinning and lots of entertainment.  But of course the Smokey Mountains are beautiful and if you have never been you should at least check it out.  There is road construction presently taking place on 66 just off of I40 all the way to Pigeon Forge which the area needs and will hopefully be done by summer.  We ate at Calhoun's Resturant which is known for their ribs and we were not disappointed, I would go back in a heartbeat...check them out.
