Cheyenne, WY

We had a good ride into Cheyenne stopping at the Moose Lodge as they had hookups. We went in and had a few beers and learned they charge $15 to stay. This lovely lady that we started a conversation with told us about Terry Bison Ranch. They had a good restaurant, trail rides, train rides etc, so we decided to stay there instead. We got a site and headed to the Senators Restaurant, very cool place in side and with the waitresses help we ordered a Buffalo burger and chili. A very good decision and found out later that their burgers were voted the best in 2009 by Bobby Flay and the food network channel. I have to say it was good! We also met a nice couple that was camping as well and they told us that they were doing Karaoke on Thursday, it's a date, we will be there.

The next day we had to go to Fort Collins CO to do a pee test for Amazon. As we drove into town we passed the Budweiser Brewery and said we had to stop there after we did the test and had lunch. There is also the Fat Tire Brewery there but they are booked months in advance for tours, so on to Budweiser.
We arrived a few minutes before the next tour so we sat out on the patio which was beautiful, the flowers were just glorious.

After prohibition was lifted Budweiser showed up at the White House with a wagon like this being pulled by 6 horses delivering beer.  Later they added 2 more horses to the team as they thought it was more impressive then 6.

Fermenting Room

Bottles coming down the line to be filled

                                                              Worker loading can lids.

Beachwood is used in fermenting so the yeast has something to grow on.

                                                              That's alot of beer!
The best part about the tour is once you are done you get 2 free beers of your choice to enjoy in their bar, Bottoms Up...

We have been pushing it so Thursday was a chill day before Karaoke.  At the ranch there is of course

                                                                            Buffalo

You can also find Camels, yes Camels.

OK time for some Karaoke.  The staff was really excited about it and sang their hearts out.

And yes with some help from Jack Daniels we even sang.  You don't need to worry about seeing our names in lights.

Thank you Sue and Dave for providing great entertainment.  We had a good time and enjoyed meeting you.                                                        Happy Trails to you both.

As for the campground it was OK but don't know that we would stay there again.  It was off season and things had slowed down.  The gravel sites were level with full hookup but nothing special.  The best part was that you could walk to the restaurant.  I am sure it probably is hoping in the summer months.

                                                           On to Flaming Gorge, WY...
